Welcome to the JUICE Website the juiciest health advice for young people living in Reading, Wokingham or West Berkshire.

If you are looking for information and advice on contraception, sexual health, help to stop smoking, advice and support for alcohol or drugs problems or for advice on any other health issue, maybe you simply just want to find someone to talk to about worries or concerns, then this website will provide you with the information you need including where your local services are and some helpful and confidential help lines.
This website should provide you with quick and easy information to some of your health questions but if you want to see a health worker who is qualified and experienced at working with young people then you may prefer to visit one of the clinics called a Juice point.
Your right to confidential services
Did you know that all young people even if you are under 16 have the same rights to a confidential service from a health worker as anyone else? This means that you can visit one of the Juice clinics, your family Doctor, your school nurse, pharmacist or the sexual health clinic at 21A Craven Road and they have to keep all the information you share with them completely private. They will encourage you to talk to your parents or carer but they won't make you.
Sometimes, if a doctor or a health worker believes you are at risk of harm, such as abuse, then they may need to tell someone else but they would always discuss this with you first before they tell anyone else.
